Dear Parents:
2016-17 school year is about to begin! We are excited to provide your child with an exciting and challenging educational experience. Please take a few minutes to review the following:
  • School begins Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Classroom assignments will be posted on boards in courtyard and cafeteria.
  • Breakfast begins daily at 7:30AM until 7:55AM. For safety/security all students must be dropped off in cafeteria. All adults must report to Main Office prior to moving around the school building.
  • Student Transfers-report to Main Office beginning Monday, August 29, 2016.
  • PARCC Scores will be available during beginning of September 2016.
  • Back to School Night-Grades PreK-5; 9/28/16 from 5:30-7PM.
  • Uniforms-All students are expected to wear uniforms daily. Boys-navy blue pants and white/light blue shirts with navy blue ties. Girls-navy blue jumpers with white/light blue shirts. We sell t-shirts, shorts, and sweats for gym days.
  • Anti-Bullying Specialist, Ms. Grohs, on staff to address HIB incidents.
  • Common Core Content Standards are implemented and student achievement will be measured using the PARCC test for grades 3-5.
  • Mid-Quarter, quarterly, and final grade reports will be posted on the FOCUS parent portal. Gradebooks and student attendance can be viewed on FOCUS parent portal. See Main Office for assistance.
  • Please complete student emergency form and lunch applications upon receipt and return to your child’s teacher for prompt input. Provide school with updates if your number should change as we will continue to send school messages via the School Messenger phone system.
